Important Threads The Rules Gotei 13 Ranks Staff Members Black Waltz Hiyori Mikontora	Amidst the swirling darkness encompassing the town of Karakura, masked figures with holes in their bodies appeared before the innocent citizens. In one's hand, a dangerous orb lay resting dormant, only to have been released in an instant, destroying everything in its path and wiping out the entire city in the blink of an eye. With the fall of the town, the Shinigami have failed and have all been massacred by the Arrancar onslaught. All the humans of Karakura town including Ichigo Kurosaki, Yasutora Sado, and Ishida Uryuu are dead. Their lives had been taken away from them just that second when the Orb of Distortion was released. However, with the release of the Hougyouku's magnificent power, it had shattered into thousands of pieces, disintegrating eventually and causing all the Arrancar at that time to perish. The Vizards were also affected and as such, they were destroyed as well... Several months have passed and nothing had happened. It had seemed that all was lost in Karakura, Soul Society, and Las Noches. However, within a few years time, a reformation would occur. New Shinigami would eventually populate Soul Society and would reform the Gotei 13. New hollows would eventually evolve into a higher species and learn how to forcibly take their masks off without harming themselves. Other Shinigami would have found out the secrets to attaining both hollow and Vizard powers without the use of the Hougyouku. A new society of spiritual beings would have been created.
